The Background

The Emotionwall concept was developed by Thistle Systems Group, one of the UK's leading storage and corporate interiors solutions providers.

Working in conjunction with Remploy furniture, Thistle's project team called upon their extensive experience in corporate interiors and storage solutions to develop concept drawing, schematics and 3D visualisations before progressing to an initial prototype.

Following this initial development period, Thistle's project team worked closely with a focus group that consisted of schools representatives, local authorities, architects and representatives from the main contractor of the prototype site together with senior managers of Remploy to identify and implement a series of upgrades to the mechanics, electronics and acoustics of the product.

The end result is the amazing Emotionwall which has transformed the way in which classroom design is approached, creating flexible and intelligent learning areas that meet the modern day requirements.
